Hotel Bussola di Hermes lies in a particularly peaceful area of the historic center of Anacapri.
The hotel is situated within walking distance of all of Anacapri’s major tourist attractions, such as the chairlift to Monte Solaro, the Church of St Michele, the Axel Munthe Museum, the Punta Carena Lighthouse and the ruins of Damecuta, one of Emperor Tiberius’s villas.
Just a few steps away from the hotel there is a bus stop where to catch buses heading to the Grotta Azzurra, the Gradola bathing establishment, and the Piazzetta of Capri.

From the port we recommend you take a taxi to Anacapri and the Bivio del Pagliaro Monticelli intersection. From here you will need to proceed, on foot, along Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani and Via Vigna before turning left at Via Traversa la Vigna (walking time approx 5 minutes).
Alternatively, you can take a bus from the port to Anacapri, and ask to get off at the Blue Grotto Bar. From here, you will need to walk along Via Pagliaro, and take the first street to the right - Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani which leads into Via Vigna. Turn left to take Via Traversa la Vigna (walking time approx 10 minutes).
Guests who require a transfer service should contact the hotel prior to boarding their boat to Capri (the cost of transfers varies according to the number of passengers).
